I went into the small river with my camera.

found a little fish.

it was really difficult to get close to him.

but his beauty made me happy,

under the cold water.

河岸に雪が残る場所での水中撮影練習。

一尾のヤマメに振り向いてもらうのが精いっぱい。

普段釣り人に苛められているからか、

なかなか近くで撮らせてもらえません。

それでもなんとか…。

小さな魚体の上に冬の陽射しが光っていました。

これで生き物は撮り納めかな？

山下恒夫さんの多摩川をテーマにした写真展です。


10代の頃から何度も何度も通ってきた八重山。

第三者が景色の素材としてその島を即物的に

消費してしまう写真ではなく、

旅人としての暖かな眼差しをもって切り取るとするなら…。

僕は山下さんの写真にその理想を見てずっと憧れていました。

懐かしい空気。

寒い北海道に行きたいな。

MINAMATA 今一番公開を待つ映画。

数日前、新しいトレーラーの動画がタイムラインに流れてきた。

たしか、今年公開の予定だったと記憶していたけど、来年になったみたい。

I saw new trailer of cinema "MINAMATA" on the internet.
The story of great photographer, W. Eugene Smith.
He is one of the greatest photographer in the world.
at least for me.
I cannot wait to see this cinema, MINAMATA.

MINATAMA。ご存知、写真家のユージン・スミスの映画化だ。

希代の写真家を、ジョニーデップが演じる。

第二次世界大戦での負傷と、水俣病の抗議活動取材時にうけた暴行…。

撮影に賭けた強い想いのみならず、

文字通りこの国「日本」で生命を削った写真家だ。

試行錯誤の通過点。

 

山道（といっても人間の道ではない）に

置きっぱなしのカメラがある。

赤外線センサーとストロボをプラケースに詰め込んだ

簡易自動撮影装置だ。

自分が撮っている写真の、

わずかな援護射撃にもなれればと

置いてみたんだけど、

これがなかなかうまく行かない。

photographing wildlife with camera-trap is easy...?

absolutely not. I tried it, but couldn't get any good pic because of many troubles.

you have to know animal's act, and set at good place.

and predict and prepare against many various troubles.

this is very difficult.
