檜枝岐から只見行脚でようやく南会津に戻ってきました。

東京で。

in Tokyo,
I'm always missing the days for chasing wildlife in the nature.
spending time for photographing people.
It is also happy time for me.
気が付けば、もう数か月、動物の写真を撮ってはいない。
秋は新しいエリアの森を見ること、
つまりそれは撮影活動の第一段階とも言えるのだけど
被写体には届かずに、動物はほとんど撮らなかった。
その後は晩秋から、イベントの撮影や講演など。
カメラを持てば、気が付いたら人間ばかり撮っている。
まぁ、それはそれでいい。いやむしろ楽しいし、有難いことだ。

今日、ようやく時間がとれたので
八王子に見たかった作品展へ。
I went to a little gallery which has held my favorites artist's exhibition.
I could have nice time with people who loves nature.

彼女の作品は、
きっと彼女自身が大切に
森と向き合った時間が見えてくるので、とても好きです。

自分自身の感覚と視野で向き合うこと。
僕たちは今、それが遠のいた時代にいるのかなとも思う。
そんな中で彼女の作品には、彼女自身の時間が
静かに流れているように、僕には感じられます。

星野道夫文庫のマスターと、彼女と
森のこと、星野さんのこと、クマのこと、羅臼のこと。
楽しい話がたくさん弾んで。とてもよい時間でした。
有難うございました。

どんな作品かは是非ご自身の目で。

山鹿で撮った人 アーサー・ビナード氏

大阪での仕事から戻り、熊本山鹿での撮影分、
少しずつ振り返って行こうと思います。
非常に印象深かったのは、やっぱりこの人、
アーサー・ビナード氏。
at the event in Yamaga, Kumamoto prefecture, I photographed many people.
One of the most impressive of them was Mr. Arthur Binard.
As you know, he's famous poet, and translator.
I was very happy to have a chance to photograph him.
Thank you, Mr. Arthur, and staff of this event in Yamaga.

講演：命の旅～登美丘南小学校～

大阪の堺市にある公立小学校に講演に行ってきました。
題材は、道徳の教科書「きみがいちばんひかるとき」6年生に
掲載されたお話『命の旅』。

finished the lecture work in elementary school.
gave a speech about Japanese nature to the children.

around 600 children...!
all of them touched bear's and deer's fur and owls feathers.
and Nikon's Dslr with long lens...
hope they enjoyed my lecture.
It was very good work for me.
Thanks to all who helped me and gave this great chance...!




知床半島の鮭と動物たち、漁師と私たち人間の繋がりから
命を考える物語ですが、
今回は低学年、高学年に各90分。
300人くらいずつ、計600名ほどの子どもたちに
自然全体の命のつながりを
感じてもらえるようなお話をさせていただきました。
