目の前に現れて、ゆっくりと旋回するオジロワシを眺めていた。
時間をかければ、自らのアングルで撮るのも、決して難しい被写体ではない。

横貌。

 

今年も動物たちとの良い出会いに恵まれますように。

傍観者の目線で、当たり前の静かな風景を、ひとつずつ。

二人でいる場所。

 

more than 10 years...
I've checked a branch of big tree, every season, every year.

always 2 eagles there. but one day, eagles disappeared.

after sveral years, I found 2 eagles again. maybe not same eagles.

but it's okay. it made me happy.
ずっと見上げてきた枝。いつもいたオジロワシ。
年老いたせいだろうか、一羽の目の下に、大きな腫瘍か傷のようなものができた。
その後、ワシは一羽になり、やがていなくなった。
数年後、一羽戻ってきた。さらに数年後、二羽になった。
目の下に傷はない。きっと若い二羽が、老いた二羽の遺産を受け継いだのだろう。
この枝は、僕にとって、二羽でいてほしい場所だ。
あの鷲はもういない。しかし番の鷲が戻ってきて、とても嬉しかった。
僕は遠巻きに、世代交代を見たのだった。
