去年の今日とサイ。

今日3月5日は僕の誕生日。
まぁ、何をするでもなく、今日もおうちで淡々とお仕事しているわけですが
この日に書こうと思っていたことがあったので、ひとつ。

昨年のこの日、3月5日は、ネパールのチトワン、ソウラハ村にいました。
ここで食したチキンカレーがことのほか美味しかったんだけど、それはさておき。
村のすぐそばまで来て姿を見せてくれたサイが、とても優しい顔をしていて可愛らしかったのです。
きっと、若い個体なのでしょう。警戒心もさほど強いようには思えませんでした。

初めて間近に見る野生のサイ。
動物大好きの僕にとって、これ以上の誕生日プレゼントはありませんね。

Last year’s my birthday, March 5th.
I met with one Wild Rhinoceros near Sauraha Village in Nepal.
That was my first chance, and it was fantastic experience.
Was the best birthday present from nature of Nepal.
And in several days from that day, I saw many Rhinos in the forest.

本日6月10日より1週間また東北へ行ってきます。
その間…と言ってはなんですが、よかったら僕の写真を見てください。

上の写真はその時に、出会ったドイツ人のトレッカーに撮ってもらったものです。
ドイツ氏、楽しくい時間と親切なお話、どうもありがとう。
それにしても、彼女さんが女神みたいに美人だったなぁ…。

現地では、フェイスブックかツイッターで呟くかもです。

from today,I will go to Tohoku (stricken area) for one week.
will do volunteer work there,again.
Maybe in KESENNUMA(気仙沼) or RIKUZENTAKATA(陸前高田).

First & Last Mission of HIMALAYA Trekking.

すごーい短い滑走路。
ヒマラヤへの玄関口、ルクラの飛行場です。


Lukla airport, have you ever seen such a short runway of airplane?
At the beginning of HIMALAYA Trekking,we have to get over this exciting flight.

Small plane go into the narrow sky between the steep mountains,
Always strong wind shakes our tiny airplane and people shiver so much.

After this exciting landing, we start to the great adventure.
This flight is first hard mission for trekkers who visit Everest region,I think.


今回、ネパールで一番のイベントとなったのがヒマラヤのトレッキング。
その最初の難関（？）がこのマウンテンフライトでした。

My latest travel in Nepal and India,I took portrait pictures only few shots.

2years ago, took hundreds pics of children in Hunza Pakistan.
It was very nice experience for me.
Speak,smile…I enjoyed a lot of communication with local nice people.
I don’t know why didn’t do that in Nepal and India.
I guess it’s because of my mind condition?

I know that one of the reason why is lack of communication.
But in fact,My intention was weak in this trip.
This is the biggest reason,I think.

村の郊外を歩いていると、川辺で一人、水浴びを楽しむゾウに出会いました。


In Chitwan,I saw many elephants.
They are very quiet and funny guys.
And also,are good labor for human.
Elephant ride,Convey heavy commodities and so on.

Elephants very attractive animals,we only get to meet them at zoo in Japan,
But here in this Sauraha village,you can see them anytime you want.
Now I'll show you some pictures of them.

I visited Chitwan.
This is a very famous National Park in Nepal.
I think that walking by own is the best way to feel the nature.
During the trek,encountered some Rhinoceros.
That was quite different from see an animal from on the elephant.
It was very exciting experience for me.


野生動物保護とサファリ観光で有名なチトワン国立公園を見てきました。
ナショナルパークに隣接するソウラハ村に滞在。この村はツーリストでいっぱいです。
ゾウに乗るエレファント・サファリをはじめ、ジープやカヌーなど多彩なツアーがあります。
色々な景色を見ましたが、まずは一番印象深かったトレッキングのレポートから。

ナマステ祇園祭。

何人か、カメラ目線の人、いますよね…。

文字通り、お祭り騒ぎのカトマンズ。
どこまで行っても人・ヒト・ひと…。
なんとなく、京都の祇園祭りを思い出してしまいました。


yesterday,I tried to visit Pashupatinath.
But I couldn't. Because of too much people!
That looked like OMATSURI(traditional festival)in Japan.
The day(on March 2) was "Maha Shivaratri" Festival in Nepal
I saw only packed people,but that was very interesting.

息を切らして坂を登ると、目の前に現れた巨大な雪と岩の壁。
おそらく、この山がヌプツェ7879m。圧巻です。


Final report of Himalayan Trekking.
I got to Gorak Shep,and climb the hill Kala Pattar.
Finally,I reached over the 5000meters world.
That made from huge moutains,rocks,glacier and stormy winds.

I was suffered from HAS(high altitude sickness),so I had to go back and descend soon.
I stayed only one night there.That was really regrettable.
Someday,I'll come back here,someday...

Anyway,
Great thanks to HIMALAYAN Great nature.

嵩張らない文庫本であることはもちろんですが、
熱中してすぐ読んでしまうような物語も向きません。
旅先で出会った旅行者と、どんどん交換していくのなら別ですが。

Second of trekking report.
I left Namche Bazaar and into the world of 4000meters.
Snow and blowing wind shows me desolate white landscape.
There's so feeezing,few life and beautiful nature.


トレッキングの続編です。
ナムチェを出発して、標高4000メートルの世界へ。
先日の雪が、荒涼さの漂う世界一面を白く染めています。

今日は、一日ずーっと寝てました。
原因は、ひどい腹痛。

旅に身体の不調はつきもの。慣れているつもりですが
やっぱりどこか調子を崩すと、僕の体は胃腸に来ますな。
もとから弱いんですよ。

Now I'm back to Kathmandu.
Trekking,it was nice and little bit hard to me.
I will share photos of Himalayan landscape here.

First is about 3000m altitude. Around Namche Bazaar.
When I was walking,it began to snow.
And everything changed into the white quickly.
It was so cold! But very beautiful.


さて。再びカトマンズに帰ってまいりました。予定よりもずいぶん早いですが…。
しばらく休むので、何度かに分けて更新していきたいと思います。

トレッキング、まず最初の目的地はナムチェバザール。
標高は3440メートルです。すでに槍ヶ岳より高いですね…。
途中、やさしく雪が降り始め、それはあっという間に激しくなり…。

建築芸術と祈りの町。

朝。広場の中心にある寺院には、たくさんの人々が祈りに押し寄せます。

トレッキングを終えたナガルコットからチャングナラヤンを経由して、
ネワール文化の古都「バクタプル」を訪れました。
帰依者の町という意味の名だそうです。

棚田や段々畑の山の向こうに、雲をまとった高い峰が連なって見えています。

カトマンズから騒がしいローカルバスに乗って、スンダリジャルへ。
そこからSHIVAPURI NationalParkを歩いて、
トレッカーを迎える小さな山の村、チサパニに到着。

おはようございます。現在は朝の7時30分。
カフェでWiFiを繋いで、これから向かう場所の情報収集をしているところ。
ネットの環境があるうちに、更新です。

昨日もカトマンズの街をぶらぶら。
特に朝夕の活気はすさまじく、歩いているだけでそのエネルギーに酔う。
埃もすごいので、30分も歩いていると、頭が痛くなってきます。

左腕の無い猿。何かを探している子供の瞳。埃まみれの野菜。
赤い羊の肉。間断無きクラクション。人の影。路上に塗れる唾。

まだたったの二日だけれど、もう喧騒中毒になってしまいそう。
カトマンズ、想像していたよりも、エネルギッシュな街でした。

ネパール入りして3日。
そろそろ穏やかな景色の場所へ行ってみようと思います。

ようやくカトマンズに到着。
夜中に到着し、タメル地区に宿をとり
一夜明けて、付近を歩き回ってきました。

予想通り、この街に溢れる喧騒は
バンコクのカオサンやマレーシアKLの中華街など、
僕にとっての初めてのアジアを思い起こさせるもので
とても懐かしい。

色々と話をきいていると、
早めにトレッキングに入ったほうがよさそうです。
トレッキング期間中は更新が難しくなるので
その前にもう一度旅の報告できればと思います。

I arrived at Kathmandu Nepal late at night on February 4.
It was long moving via ABU DHABI,UAE.
Now I stay Thamel area(famous as tourist's street).
I walked around in this mornig.
At Bazar,I feel the nostalgia of Bangkok and KL Malaysia.
noise,dusty air and peoples energy.
This is the Asia for me.

そして、昨日トランジットしたアブダビ。
快晴の青に映える、純白の巨大な建造物に圧倒されます。

ネパールとは、まったく違う世界ですよね。
10時間近くのトランジット、いい経験をさせてもらえました。
