Japanese Summer River. Nikon D810 + AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8G ED

近況です。
合間を縫ってなんとか撮影に出るものの、被写体には出会えない日々。
川も、森も、すっかり夏色に染まってしまった。
盛夏は、動物を追う者にとって、決して良い季節とは言えない。
高い気温で、動物の行動も控えめになるだろう。
秋には北海道遠征が控えているが、それまでに何度撮影のチャンスがあるか。
諦めずに通いたいと思う。

Recently I got into the forest several times.
But I couldn't meet with wildlife in good distance for shooting with camera.
The river and forest is in completely the summer color now.
You know, summer is not a good season to chase the animals.
They also stay under the shade long time to avoid the heat.
Not easy to find them. But I'll keep trying.



Nikon D810. Nikon D700 + AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED

もうひとつ。気になっていたD810をレンタルして使ってみた。
ずいぶんとバランスが取れた素晴らしいカメラになっていて、「これは欲しいな」と思う次第。
高感度もそうだけど、低感度も嬉しい。（写真はISO64）
何よりシャッターが静かになっていて、手振れに使う神経が軽減されそう。
D800E導入した時はどうしても気になっていたことだから、これは大きな改善点だ。
単なるマイナーチェンジではない。名前がD800Sではないということに納得。

Testing new DSLR "Nikon D810". (I rented it.)
It got pretty better than D800E.
High & low ISO, color tone. and especially teh silent shutter.
It is not "D800S". I really want to get it.
