Yesterday, I went to Kamakura(鎌倉).
It takes about 1 and half hr by train from Tokyo.
In Kamakura, there are a huge number of Buddhist temples.
You can enjoy peaceful working in the outlying temples.

I visited one of them, Enkaku-ji (円覚寺).
This temple was founded in 1282.
Old wooden buildings is really beautiful.
And good for photographing.

In the temple, you can see many small Buddha-sculptures.
Those are called JIZO in Japanese.

JIZO(地蔵)-Buddha-Sculptures- ,
their face with beneficence smile is one of the best beauty of
traditional Japanese art, I think.

Japanese old style architecture is also fine art.
How do you think?
