東北へ。

先週は、仕事で陸前高田へ。
合間に気仙沼、気仙沼大島とボランティアでお世話になった場所を見て回ってきました。

何ができるというわけではありませんが、一年に一度、ひっそりと訪ねる。
それくらいはしたいなと思っていたところ、いかんせん道東からは遠い…。
今回東北でのお仕事をいただいたので、良い機会となりました。

Last week, went to Tohoku -2011,311disaster area- again.
Visited RikuzenTakata-陸前高田-, Kesen'numa-気仙沼- and
Kesen'numa Oshima island -気仙沼大島-.
These are all devastated area. attacked by huge Tsunami.

漁師と鮭。

夜明け前、着岸後に船と港の光に照らされる銀色の鮭たち…。
先日、地元の方に御好意をいただいて、定置網の漁船に乗せていただきました。

こんなチャンスはなかなかありません…。
行き詰っている動物の撮影も気にはなりましたが、
予定があったので嬉々として羅臼へと車を走らせました。

I rode fisherman's ship in Nemuro Strait.
Watched fixed-net fishery of salmon & squid.

So many salmon & squid, fisherman's clever work.
I wanted to watch this, human's activity with northern ocean's salmon.
It was so exciting time. Took so many pictures with my camera.

until now, I chased salmon run & wildlife which live with salmon
in the northern nature, like bear. I think human is same also.

Some people introduced me to the fisherman.
And fisherman said gave me this great chance.

森にさ迷う。

Alone in the forest.
In this season, walk so long time in depth of Shiretoko forest.
To shoot the pictures of wildlives.
But got few pics of them. I'm still athirst for their figures...

人が通ることのない、森の中…。
ザックを下ろしてほっと一息。
しばらくすると森が呼吸を吹き返すように
鳥が羽ばたいたり、風が走ったりするのが感じられます。
この瞬間が、フィールドでの僕の一番の愉しみ。
やっぱり森が好きなのでしょう。

台風が近づいている…ということで自宅待機。その間にブログの更新です。
この秋は、森に川にと、ひたすらに歩いています。
が、撮影においては、さしたる成果を手にすることができていません…。

微妙な季節のズレであったり、年による食性の違いであったり、
何より、僕の経験不足であったり…。理由は様々です。

地質調査同行。

人知れず森を流れる川の支流。詰めていくと、驚くほど大きな滝が目の前に現れました。
流れ落ちるのは、岩盤から染み出した水でしょうか。幾重にも生糸を引くような美しさ。

知床に通う日々が続いていますが、なかなか被写体である野生動物に出会うことができません。
少し、目先を変えてみようと地質調査に同行させていただくことに。

enjoyed stream-trekking with 2 persons
who work for geological survey of Shiretoko Peninsula.
Walked half day, saw various landscapes.
tiny streams, huge rock, water fall, and silent lake
in the depth of Shiretoko-forest.
It was extremely beautiful!!!

オオワシ飛来。

Has the Steller's sea eagle come already?
They comes to Hokkaido in winter season from Russia .
I saw this 3days ago(3rd Oct). Winter is coming.

先日、知床へ向けて車を走らせていると、目に入った大きな鳥。
オオワシがもう飛来している。10月3日の撮影です。
早いなぁ…。
