Bears are still awake.

8月から足繁く知床へと通い、ヒグマを探して森や川、海岸を歩いています。
餌不足に苦しむ、痩せた個体を見た8～9月、
鮭よりも、おそらく今年は団栗などの恵みで太った個体に何頭も出会った10~11月。
夏と秋、2つの季節を通してこの巨大な動物の姿を、わずかですが垣間見ることができています。
これ以上の幸せはないのかもしれません。

そろそろ冬籠りでしょうか。なんとか、あと一度くらいは彼等の姿を見たい。
そのチャンスが去ってしまう、冬が来る、と季節の移ろいを強く感じています。

in this year, after the move to Hokkaido, I often went into the bear's forest.
In the summer. August and September, saw lean bears because of lack of foods.
And Autumn, October and November,I met with many big bears
which ate many acorns and salmons...
more than 20 bears, they all were fantastic experiences.
I'm pretty happy, I'm in the great nature now.

秋のお散歩。

曇り空だったのですが、すこしだけ湖畔を散歩してきました。
動物の気配を探しながら、ゆっくり歩いていきます。

Went to hiking to a lake.
About 2hrs, I walked the trail beside the lake.
Many leaves had fallen. and view in the forest got more bright.
You can feel the winter coming there.

ラーメンと野菜の直売所。

昨日のお昼は知人にお薦めしてもらってた近所のラーメン屋に。
こっち（道東？）のラーメン屋って、内地のそれに比べて、店が広くて、
品がすぐに出てくるわけでもなく、まぁ、なんというかゆったりしています。
あと、あっさりめの味が多いという印象かな。
さほど食べ歩いたわけではないのだけれど。
知床の帰りには、止別駅のラーメン屋によく寄りますが、
あそこもあっさりしてますしね。野菜も多いし。
ヘルシーですよ。

ついでに、これまた教えていただいた野菜の直売所に寄って帰りましたが。
さすが北見は農業の町。
じゃがいもやらネギやら玉ねぎやら、旨いのんが安いのなんのって。
明日はふかしイモだね。


Ramen -Chinese style noodle soup-.
This is one of the popular food in Japan. I ate this at restaurant near my home.
Many vegetables and less oil.
I felt it was little bit different from Ramen of other part of Japan.
Was really delicious. :)

10月の知床。

早いもので、もう11月ですね。北海道はもう冬の足音がすぐそばに聞こえるようです。
さて、10月はまたまた知床へ足繁く通っておりました。
去年までは、毎年知床に訪れていたのは9月。
秋が深まり冬へと向かっていくこの季節の知床は、僕にとって初めての経験です。

On October, I often went into the forest of Shiretoko.
Chum salmon had come to streams for their spawning, after the Pink salmon disappeared.
Trees had colored by autumn leaves,
and some brown bears came to the river from mountain to eat salmons.
Now, that land Shiretoko is still in autumn season.
And winter will come soon.
