春近い知床へ。

さて先週は、またまた久しぶりに知床半島へと足を伸ばしてきました。
3泊4日で羅臼と宇登呂を慌ただしく行ったり来たり。
最後になるかも、ということで羅臼では海鷲のクルーズにも参加してきました。

Last week, visited Shiretoko peninsula again.
I took part in Eagle-watching-cruise of Rausu(羅臼).
At rausu in this season, you can see many huge eagles nearby.

相変わらずたくさんのカメラマンたちと寄せてくる海鷲たちに気圧されそうになりますが
とりあえず、こんな感じのシーンも一応撮ってみる…。
国後島の向こうから昇ってくる朝日に流氷の海。美しいですね。

クルーズ船では、こんな感じで撮影しています。氷上にアザラシも見かけました。
たとえワシがいなくても（いますけど）、流氷帯をガリガリ進む船に乗るのは楽しいものです。
ワシ寄せ無しのクルーズもきっと楽しめると思うんだけどなぁ…。

いつもお世話になっている民宿で、ゴージャスな朝食！
そう、羅臼のウニは今が旬。去年は食べ逃しただけに嬉しかった。

Now is the best season of sea urchin of Rausu.

変わって半島の反対、ウトロ側。
こちらではビッシリと流氷が接岸していました。

Next, the other side of Shiretoko peninsula, Utoro (宇登呂).
Drift ice came to the shore and has completely covered the ocean.

見渡す限りの白い海。
思わずため息…といった感じの自分写真です。　:)
人気のない断崖から、水平線まで海を埋め尽くす流氷を眺めると、
切ないような、暖かいような、不思議な感動に心が包まれます。
いつもこんな風景に出会える、というわけではないのですが。

冬の終盤は、エゾシカ達にとって辛いシーズンですね。
またしっかりと撮影に行かねば…。

こちらは雪の上でのんびりと昼寝するキツネくん。
陽射しも暖かくなって、春はもうすぐそこですね。
