10月の知床。

早いもので、もう11月ですね。北海道はもう冬の足音がすぐそばに聞こえるようです。
さて、10月はまたまた知床へ足繁く通っておりました。
去年までは、毎年知床に訪れていたのは9月。
秋が深まり冬へと向かっていくこの季節の知床は、僕にとって初めての経験です。

On October, I often went into the forest of Shiretoko.
Chum salmon had come to streams for their spawning, after the Pink salmon disappeared.
Trees had colored by autumn leaves,
and some brown bears came to the river from mountain to eat salmons.
Now, that land Shiretoko is still in autumn season.
And winter will come soon.

Today's dinner. clam chowder that I cooked.
with new potatoes of Hokkaido.　Hokkaido where I live is famous for good potatoes.

今日の夕食は、北海道産新じゃがたくさん使用クラムチャウダー。
作ってみた。　じゃがいも好きには嬉しい北海道の季節です。
寒くなってきましたね。　そろそろ雪降るかな？

紅葉はイマイチ？

週末はオンネトーに足を延ばしてきましたが、
どうもまだ黄葉はイマイチなご様子…。

それにしても、かなり久しぶりですココ来るの。
6年ぶりくらい？

Visited On-Neto lake famous for landscape in the eastern area of Hokkaido.
Trees were still not colored completly.
When can we see the perfect autumn leaves?

動物に会えない時間が長かったので、ふてくされて自分撮影…。
10月に入った知床の森を歩いてきました。
そろそろ秋の気配は…。

Walked in forest of Shiretoko.
Trees started changing colors of themselves.
And wildlives changed their fur also.
Bears, stags...and foxes.

連休はちょこっとキャンプ。

早朝、まだ色づき始めの秋の湖は、靄がかって神秘的な表情を見せてくれます。
というわけで、3連休はyomeの運転で近くの湖へ。あ、コレはたぶんヨガやってるとこですね…。

Last weekend, went to camping.
Trees had not colored in autumn color yet.
But sky was fine, we could enjoy fresh air and amazing starlight-sky.
Autumn was delayed, but it's getting cold day by day.
We can feel changing season now in Northern land of Japan.
Enjoyed little camping at lakeside. :)
